POWERSAFE® SBS XL – 12V FRONT TERMINAL BATTERIES

PowerSafe SBS XL is EnerSys’ longest design life TPPL battery for stable grid float applications. Our 12V series combines classic front terminal designs for ease of conventional battery system upgrade, installation, and maintenance with a very long float life, together with the multiple, proven benefits of our TPPL technology such as a 24-month storage life. At elevated operating temperatures, the outstanding 10-year design life at 35°C of SBS XL front terminal blocs gives customers the freedom to reduce both capital costs by investing in cheaper cooling methods (such as free cooling) as well as operating costs by raising air conditioning set points.

 

POWERSAFE® SBS XC BATTERIES

Combining fast recharge capabilities and high reliability, PowerSafe SBS XC batteries deliver an ideal solution for telecommunications networks with poor grid stability where there is high risk of uncontrolled Partial State of Charge (PSOC) operation. The batteries also offer excellent resilience against deep discharge. The high cyclability of SBS XC batteries and their ability to operate in uncontrolled PSOC conditions, where ambient temperature can often be high, supports a lower Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

 

 

POWERSAFE® SBS XL - 2V DIN-SIZE BATTERIES

PowerSafe SBS XL is EnerSys’ longest design life TPPL battery for stable grid float applications. Our 2V series (SBS XL 320 to SBS XL 3900) offers outstanding Ah capacities in classic DIN-size designs thus making it ideal for the replacement/upgrade of conventional VRLA and flooded DIN-size batteries, especially as SBS XL cells can be installed on existing stands to minimise capital expenditure. High energy density for compact installation footprint and an exceptional storage life are just some of the additional benefits SBS XL 320-3900 deliver.
